 Chandigarh Administration has taken initiative to accept online Application Forms for admission to all

Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate courses in Government colleges and most of the courses in Grant-in-Aid Colleges for the session 2022- 2023. For the convenience of applicants, Centralized Counselling would be held for certain UG and PG Courses. This novel practice is going to save applicants a lot of time energy and money.

All the applicants have to apply online only; no offline application submission mode is available. However, the hardcopy of the Online Application form is required to be submitted in respective college on the day of counselling as per admission schedule given in the Prospectus. If an applicant is interested in applying in more than one course/college then the applicant has to fill separate online application forms for each course/college.

Applicants are advised to refer to Joint and College online Prospectus for the details of courses, number of seats in various colleges, the procedure to apply, etc.        

•  Start of Online Application of Admission Forms: 23th July, 2022 (Saturday)

•  Last date of Online Submission of Admission Forms: 3th August, 2022 (Wednesday)

•  Display of List of all Applicants: 5th August, 2022 (Friday) by 4:00 am

•  Display of Provisional List of all Eligible Applicants: 8th August, 2022 (Monday) by 4:00 pm

•  Reporting of Discrepancies by Applicants to respective College: 10th August, 2022 (Wednesday) by 5:00 pm

•  Display of Final List of Applicants: 12th August, 2022 (Friday) by 5:00 pm

a.   Admissions to B.A. I are non-centralized and will be done by respective colleges. For detailed admission schedule and other information related B.A. I, please refer to respective college prospectus/ website in which the applicant wishes to apply.

b.   For Government Colleges: •  All the applicants seeking admission in B.A. I in Government Colleges also have to fill the admission form ONLINE at website www.dhe.chd.gov.in. •  The applicant will have to give the preference of 08 subject combinations. (with cap of one subject selected for maximum of 04 times). •  Applicant can apply for different Colleges with the same User id and Password. However, he/ she will have to fill separate form for each college where he/ she wish to apply. •  If the applicant wishes to apply for more than one course, he/ she will have to fill the separate form for each course. •  The provisional list of all applicants and provisional list of eligible applicants will be displayed on both DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in.and respective college website. •  After the allocation of the seat, the form will be verified by the allotted college. •  Once the applicant's form is verified by the college, he/she will receive an SMS regarding deposit of fee (in case of Government Colleges) on the registered mobile number on the day of admission schedule. In addition, applicants can also check their admission status through their respective DHE login or on DHE website at http://dhe.chd.gov.in/Version2/epayment/ paynow.aspx •  Applicants can deposit the fee online at DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in. •  The fee must be deposited within 24 hours of seat allocation otherwise the seat will be cancelled automatically. •  For further admission procedure and subject combinations, the applicant will refer to the respective Government College prospectus/website

c.   For Privately Managed Aided Colleges: All the applicants seeking admission in B.A. I in Privately Managed Aided Colleges, DO NOT have to fill the admission form at www.dhe.chd.gov.in. They will refer to the prospectus/ website of the respective college for instructions regarding filling of form.

d.   Schedule for Admission to B.A. I: Admission schedule for all colleges regarding admissions to B.A. I is as follows: •  70% and above : 16th August, 2022 (Tuesday) •  60% and above : 18th August, 2022 (Thursday)* •  50% and above : 20th August, 2022 (Saturday)* •  Below 50% : 21th August, 2022 (Sunday)* •  All Reserved Categories (UT Pool and Outside UT) and Over and Above (Additional Seats) : 20th August, 2022 (Saturday) * Subject to availability of seats Online Centralized Admission Schedule (Session 2022-2023)

Important Note
1. Applicant whose online admission form has been verified and is been allotted college must deposit the fees as per the detailed Online Centralized Admission Schedule.
2. The admissions under SPORTS Category will be done after the issuance of Gradation Certificate (whenever) by the Sports Department, Chandigarh Administration. The schedule for the same will be uploaded on DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in. However, the applicant has to choose the sports reservation while applying in online admission form.
3.  Admission to all centralized courses in all city colleges during the 1st and 2nd Online Centralized Admission Schedule will be done online through the DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in. There will be NO PHYSICAL COUNSELLING.
4. Online Centralized Admission Schedule mentioned in the prospectus should be adhered to and there will not be any additional Centralized Online Admission Schedule.
5.  If an applicant, having reserved category, falls under GENERAL CATEGORY in the merit list, the applicant will be given admission in the GENERAL CATEGORY only. So the applicant must follow the admission schedule of General Category on the date and time specified under General Category
NOTE:  All admissions done will be provisional and subject to the verification of documents by Panjab University, Chandigarh. If any document or information is found to be false/ incorrect/ concealed at any stage, the admission may stand cancelled. There will be no refund of fees in this case.

Important Instructions for Online Centralized Admissions
1.  Read the instructions and procedure thoroughly before filling the admission form for any course.
2. For the detailed admission schedule, applicant should refer to the DHE website i.e. www.dhe.chd.gov.in as well as the respective college prospectus/website where he/she has been allotted the seat online.
3.  The last date for online submission of Admission Forms for all centralized courses is 3rd August, 2022 (Wednesday)
4.  The list of all the applicants who have applied online will be displayed course-wise on the DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in on 5th August, 2022 (Friday) by 4:00 pm.
5.  The applicants can report the discrepancies (if any) to the SPIC through email at dhechdhelpline@gmail.com by 7th August, 2022 (Sunday) by 1:00 pm.
6.  The provisional list of all eligible applicants will be displayed on the DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in on 10th August, 2022 (Wednesday) by 4:00 pm.
7.  Instructions for 1st Online Centralized Admission Schedule: •  The provisional list of verified applicants and list of applicants with discrepancy (if any) will be th displayed on the DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in by the allotted colleges on 12th August, 2022 (Friday) by 5:00 pm. •  After the allocation of the seat, the form will be verified by the allotted college. •  The applicant has to clear the discrepancy (if any) on and before 15th August 2022 (Monday) by 12:00 pm at College level through their respective login at DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in. •  Once the applicant's form is verified by the college, the seat will be assigned by the college as per st the date and time mention in the 1 Online Centralized Admission Schedule. The applicant will then receive an SMS regarding deposit of fee (in case of Government Colleges) on the registered mobile number on the day of admission schedule. In addition, applicants can also check their admission status through their respective DHE login or on DHE website at http://dhe.chd.gov.in/Version2/epayment/paynow.aspx. •  In case the applicant is seeking admission in Government College, he/she can deposit the fee online at DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in. •  In case the applicant is seeking admission in Privately Managed Aided College, he/she must refer to the respective college prospectus/ website regarding deposit of fee. •  The fee must be deposited within 24 hrs of seat allocation otherwise the seat will be cancelled automatically
8.  Applicants who have been allotted college in the 1st Online Centralized Admission Schedule but could not nd take admission or pay fee, will get a chance of admission in 2nd Online Centralized Admission Schedule th only if they give their willingness online on 19th August, 2022 (Friday) by 5:00 pm through their respective login at DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in.
9. Applicants who have not been allotted college in the 1st Online Centralized Admission Schedule will nd automatically be considered for the 2nd Online Centralized Admission Schedule. They DO NOT need to submit their willingness online.
10. Applicants admitted in the 1st Online Centralized Admission Schedule can give their willingness on 19th August, 2022 (Friday) by 5:00 pm for 2nd Online Centralized Admission Schedule if they wish to change the college they are admitted to. Only upward mobility of preference will be allowed in the change of college. Change of order of preference of college (after the submission of form) is not allowed at any stage.
11.  Instructions for 2nd Online Centralized Admission Schedule: •  Details of the course-wise and college-wise vacant seats will be notified on DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in on 20th August, 2022 (Saturday) by 5:00 pm. •  The provisional list of verified applicants and list of applicants with discrepancy (if any) who have been allotted college in the 2nd Online Centralized Admission Schedule will be displayed on the DHE th website www.dhe.chd.gov.inby 21th August, 2022 (Sunday) by 5:00 pm for the courses where st the seats remain vacant after 1st Online Centralized Admission Schedule. •  The applicant has to clear the discrepancy (if any) on and before 22th August, 2022 (Monday) by 12:00 pm at college level through their respective login at DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in •  Once the applicant's form is verified by the college, the seat will be assigned by the college as per nd the date and time mention in the 2nd Online Centralized Admission Schedule. The applicant will then receive an SMS regarding deposit of fee (in case of Government Colleges) on the registered mobile number on the day of admission schedule.
